Phenomenal, quaint little Italian Deli and Diner. I love the old school way on how they package the meats. I purched Roast Beef and some Turkey.. yummy yummy. And of course the Cannolis. 😋😋 Can't wait to go back …

For about 15 years I would comfortably say Piccolo was my favorite restaurant in town. I’d beg my wife to go there consecutive days and I was happy eating the Frank Sinatra sandwich over and over and over again. Then the business sold. Now the bread is disappointing with no noteworthy crunch, the portions got smaller, the prices went up, the daily specials went away, and worst of all - the chicken cutlet is soggy and pounded so paper thin that there is absolutely no meat to speak of. I asked the new owner about it and he acted like nothing was different from before. I would have thought I was going crazy but 2 tables on either side of me heard my conversation and leaned in to tell me how disappointed they were with the changes.

I stop at the store to get Sopressata. Not only is the sausage the best right from Italy, but they also take the time to slice it and neatly line it up in the wrapping paper, so it looks beautiful. They don't just throw it in the paper. A very nice touch that you don't see in many places. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! And the homemade Italian sausage it the best but get there early because they sell out daily. That tells you something also.

I've been a customer here since they first opened. 3 owners ago. Always raved about it. Sadly yesterday was a big disappointment. I ordered 2 lg Italian subs and to say they were lean was an understatement. Very little meat. Very sad. The owner is a nice fella and I wish them the best but when Publix makes a better sub than an Italian deli that's a problem.

When traveling, anytime I can find an authentic Italian deli I feel right at home. Piccolos is in a little strip on the south end of Sarasota and is about as real deal as you can get. Lots of freshly made Italian treats. They put together a nice charcuterie for me to take back to our rental to enjoy. The prices are very fair for the quality you get and the staff very friendly and helpful. Grazie!

This place looks great! Need to come back here and actually give the food a try but I did take a bunch of photos to show people items available for sale! They have canned cherry tomatoes!!! Lots of imported items. Frozen fresh pasta. The salami and sausage look amazing!!!! Coming back soon!!!
